Why Another Dating Site?
Because there's simply too many problems with the current collection of dating sites. Fake members, spam from members, junk email from the site itself, paying money just to send messages, annoying stock photography, pop-up ads, etc. etc. It seems as though the race is on to create more and more scams!
Here at WheresMyStar.com, I've tried to do away with the above problems. And best of all, you choose who can send you messages with our Sparks system - a first in dating sites.
We don't have forums here on purpose. We've noticed that dating sites with forums have too many people on there who are "just here to chat" or "just here to exchange photos". That's not what we want here. We want people who are serious about getting a date. Besides, there's plenty of good places to spend time posting messages to forums and exchanging photos.
About these new "Psychological Profiling" dating sites: It sure does sound good, and it's a nice new gimmick. But do you really want to pay $200+ bucks to fill out hours of questionaires and not even be able to see a picture of your match beforehand? I guess "love at first sight" is not possible anymore. And despite the self-proclaimed success of these psychological profiling sites, divorce rates in America and elsewhere are still at historic highs. I believe that no computer or process can calculate the complexities of human desire. So, here, we'll be sticking to the proven old-fashioned way of dating. :P
