Member Guidelines
In our efforts to make this place a fun place for single people to create relationships with others, we have established the following simple guidelines. These guidelines establish a bar which, to a degree, will maintain that our members are sincere about their efforts meet people online. Members who do not repect and abide by our guidelines will certainly have their profile deleted. We think these guidelines are very simple and common sense.
If you happen to see a rule breaker anywhere on our site, please let us know for the benefit of everyone here and our community. You're welcome to email us at anytime, and we do appreciate it!
Regarding Profiles
- No Email/Web/Home Addresses or Phone Numbers:
If you post any of this information in your profile, then we will know you're not serious about using this site to find a match. Only spammers or scammers will want to have this kind of information posted. You're welcome, however, to send any information you like in Messages to each other through this site. - Respect Copyrights of Others:
Please don't post any copyrighted content of any kind. - Be Honest About Your Location:
We use special technology to detect which county a member is from. However, in your profile, you're allowed to choose your own location. If you notice that your detected country (flag in your profile) is incorrect, let us know by emailing us and we'll fix this.
Regarding Photos
- Your Primary Photo (Photo #1) must be a photo of YOURSELF ONLY. This is the photo which will be shown in search listings. All other photos must clearly show your face. You need at least these 3 photos posted (including Photo #1) to start sending Sparks.
- Non-people photos are not allowed (e.g. car only, pets only, graphics, tattoo close-up, etc.). Once again, Every photo MUST CLEARLY show your face.
- No nude, obscene, provacative, or hateful themes are allowed. We want to keep this place clean and fun for everyone!
- Don't post a photo which has an email/web/home address on it. Trademarked logos on photos are also not allowed.
- Please don't post duplicate photos, e.g. a photo which has been cut out of another photo which has already been posted.
- Professional or model-like photos are not allowed. Post a candid photo instead.
- Please be sure the photo is very good in quality. If the photo is too grainy, blocky from resizing, pixelated, etc, then it will be rejected.
Regarding Communication With Others
- Here at WheresMyStar.com, we don't have the problem that every other site has with some people harassing others. This is because we have the excellent and exclusive Sparks system which we've created for your empowerment and your protection. Only you have the power to Open Communication, and you also have the power to Close Communication at any time for any reason!
